The Community Power Fund is administered by the Government of Ontario and supports project development activities of Ontario-based community organizations that are pursuing local wind, solar PV, solar thermal, biogas, small hydro and geo-thermal renewable energy projects. Ontario Government: Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC)
The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) provides the "Northern Ontario Entrepreneur Program" for residents of Northern Ontario who plan to start their own businesses. The funding provided can go toward such costs as purchasing furniture, fixtures and equipment to get the business going. It is provided as a conditional grant for up to 50% of the eligible costs, not to exceed $125,000. Learn more...
